Dear Community,
As you have probably
heard, a fire occurred at the school today. All children and staff present in
the building followed fire drill procedures and safely evacuated the building.
I would like to
thank the Macdonald Fire Department for their quick response and work in
putting out the fire.
The Divisional
maintenance department and I will shortly be assessing damage to the school and
I will be meeting
with the superintendents department tomorrow to plan our next steps.
I will be sure to
update you, our students and community, as soon as I am able.
