Dear
Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, Caregivers and anyone working with children,
Macdonald Healthy Child is, once again, offering a parent
information evening this Fall! We are thrilled that Pamela Whyte, a Neufeld Institute graduate and family
consultant, has agreed to share her expertise with us. Pamela is a parent
educator and consultant who works with parents, professionals and organizations
to provide the insight that will allow them to understand the children in their
care from the inside out. She presents with compassion and insight and has an
intuitive ability to connect with her clients. She has been working with
families and professionals for over ten years, and as a mother of three, has a
personal and practical understanding of the joys and challenges of parenting.
Please visit her website at www.pamelawhyte.ca
for further information.
Pamela’s presentation, Helping Children Flourish,
will take place in the Oak Bluff Community School library on Tuesday,
September 20th at 7pm. In this presentation, Pamela will provide a
comprehensive map for parents and professionals who want something more than
strategies for handling problem behaviours. After studying with Dr Gordon
Neufeld and working with youth and their families, Pamela is able to deliver
information on four essential experiences for the unfolding of human potential.
The answers for helping children flourish are surprising when seen in the
context of current practice and prevailing attitudes. She will, of course,
touch on the basics of attachment theory practices as well.
The cost of this
presentation is FREE.
