April
is here and by the end of the month we will be in full spring mode. As a parent
I know that spring brings evening soccer games, baseball games, football games
and other outdoor pursuits – and yet we all need to ensure our students finish
the year in a strong manner.
I want to
congratulate all of our students on the hard work that they have put into the
first two terms of the school year. Report Cards will be coming home on
Thursday, April 7th. Please take some time to read through the
report card and discuss with your child what their learning goal will be in the
final term of the school year.
Our school
Student Led Conferences will be held on April 14th from 4:00pm to
6:30pm and on April 15th from 9:00 to noon. If you haven’t already
booked your appointment be sure to visit the webpage and book your appointment
as soon as possible.
Congratulations
to the boys Basketball team who won the divisional championship! Way to go
Jaguars! This month we will see the Grades 3-6 students participating in the
annual swimming program at the University of Manitoba as well as the start of
Badminton for the grade 7&8 students.
