Scare Hunger at J. A. Cuddy School

For three years Ben Brigg has been actively fighting hunger in Manitoba. From grade 6 to grade 8 he has organized students and friends from J. A. Cuddy School to participate in the WeDay Scare Hunger Campaign. The campaign asks students to go door to door on Halloween and ask for non-perishable food items instead of candy. The food is then delivered to a local food shelter.

Being the last year that Ben will be at J. A. Cuddy School, Mr. Thomson, principal of J.A. Cuddy School encouraged Ben to pass on the tradition to a younger student. This year Ben and Andrew Thompson worked together to gather students and head out on Halloween to fight hunger.

We can't wait to see what Andrew has planned for next year!
